Light On Dash

I've got a light come on the dash board its the one on the bottom left hand corner looks like a bloke seating in a seat any ideas what it is and how to fix it thanks

uh, isnt that the seatbelt warning light? should go out after a few seconds of having the engine on?

yea put after you start the engine it goes out put comes back on again

thats bizarre, i doubt its anything important....probably just a faulty sensor or something. maybe vag com can shed some light?

I would look in the manual just to be sure but its down the street at the moment.

All the symbols are listed in your manual - but yes as said above it could just be a faulty sensor.

According to my handbook the bottom left corner light is the airbag light, the top left corner symbol is the seat belt warning light. I've got the airbag light come up on my car and my airbag light next to the rear de-mister button is on as well so i've got a fault with mine which i need to get checked out as the airbags aren't opperating correctly, would recommend getting it checked it out if it is the airbag light.
