probably a 170bhp MCS, 200bhp at most. So nothing great there unfrotunately
Looking on MINI2.com he is now going for a Stage 4 head, with oversized Shrick valves and exhaust ports - Looks like this may be reaching 300bhp if it's already 283bhp.
Considering selling the Cupra now.

Thats Karls car, he's only gone for the stage 4 head as my car is booked in for the same spec in 2 weeks time.
Although both of us a little off the pace as GT Tuning's new conversion where they ditch the Super charger for a nice GT28 turbo pushes out 390Bhp on standatd settings and will break through the 400bhp with a few tweaks, and these are 100% reliable.

Also booked in to do the italian Job Rally in October which is a Rally for Minis only that starts in Milan or venice ( not confirmed) and fincishes in Brighton. should be good. get to drive round the Fiorano Ferrari test track and also the lingoto roof top track.

What credit crunch!
Been a long time so I just thought I'd update. Stage 4 is in and rear seats out. Wheels switched to Oz 16" instead of the 18" Dares.
We taught a Lamborghini Gallardo not to mess but then came across a CL65. Ok, it didnt destroy us but it pulled away 100 mtrs from 50mph - loads, even with the stage 4. Awesome machine. We will be out on the usual runs this weekend so look out for it, us!!

Nice dude real nice , the JC220 is a decent bit of bolt on kit and makes the mini fun to drive but still lacking in torque IMO. Glad you enjoyed it, we go round our local track here [Oulton park] for 90 sheets, It is soooo much fun, we have a bullet cam now so will try and upload a vid over the weekend of 300bhp mini
