Leon TDI FR - 18inch Alloys

Very quick question - can we fit 18inch alloys on our Leon TDI FR, March registration plate?

Do you know what size the 18" are? i.e. 225/40/18 for example?

Just they need to be the same rolling radius to not put out the speedo also!

No idea about size etc.. my hubby was trying to do a deal with a local dealer for new wheels and tyres and then the dealer has turned round and said, nope 18inch will not fit. We thought it was rubbish.

Jubjubbird on here has a Leon Cupra MY03 model and he has 18" RS6 wheels on his without any problems, see a pic of them on his car in his profile here

Ask your dealer how the Leon R has 18" wheels then!

Also Dangel has 18" Cupra R wheels on his Moded Cupra MY03

i have lcr rims on my modded LC as well they fit fine same arches and all that crap as the LCR

Dealer says that the wheels rub on bodywork when steering is on full lock - is this true?.. although from looking under wheel arch there seems to be a lot of room
