Leon ST multimedia Problems

Hiya,

I have got a '14 plate Leon ST, with the Tech-Pack installed.

Over the last couple of months, i have noticed that my system is having trouble with playing music from my SD card.

I have a 64GB SDXC class 10 SD card, which has all of my music on. connected to media 2 slot, (Nav card is installed in media slot 1)

95% of the music that plays when i am in the card seems to pause, for probably a second or so, and continues playing, this can happen sometimes 10 times per song. (its almost like it is buffering!)

It also has a tendancy to keep paying the same song over and over, even when I try to select another song. This can happen on mix, and normal play mode.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Should i reformat my songs to a specific format (.mp3 or .wma?)

Checked the compatibility manual and my card is listed, so im a bit lost as to what to do next.

Thanks

SD cards with higher capacity than 32GB are for sure supported, I am using 128GB SDXC card without any problem.

2reeksy: What manufacturer of the card are you using? If any "noname" version (or better to say less known), try SanDisk or Kingston..

Meppershall Beds.
mines never done this. Started with an 8GB USB stick that sometimes needed re-seating.
Been using a SanDisk 64gb with about 30GB music on it for about 3-4 months now.
It's always a bit long-winded to change albums (unless I'm doing it wrong I can't get straight back to the listing by artist), but never stuttered.

Been using 128GB SDXC for a few months now; no issues. USB stick before that kept losing connection and needed removing/inserting to be recognised.

What is the source of the music, iTunes for example?

I've never had any issues with mine. I get mine from iTunes and use an MP3 converter app then copy them onto the SD in an {album_name} folder.

Dont have this issue but occasionally it will display the incorrect track name of an MP3, showing the name of the next track rather than the one that's currently being played. Anyone else get similar and/or know how to fix it?
