Has anyone bought a service manual CD+DVD from ebay, such as this?

Are they any good and can anyone recommend an ebay seller?
Are there any alternatives worth considering?

Shame there's not a haynes manual.
Cheers for any help.

I bought one the other day but not had much time to look at it though. It installed ok but it wasn't from the same seller as the one in your link

Dont touch with a barge pole... I bought it for my dads 1995 merc sl, and he thought it was the biggest heap of junk...I dont even think leon was on the one I got....even though it was meant to be covered...and as said you can get the link on internet somewhere.

Dont take my advice though....there is alot of info on it....just whather its the info your after. Lets just hope haynes bring out the REAL THING soon enough, I see on the haynes site it is currently 'under consideration'.

I've got one. Use it for our ibiza and leon. They are pretty good. Better than nothing. Can be tricky to find the specific page you need as the catagories are not explained well. One word of warning though is I only install it when I need it. I don't leave it installed continuously. We've only got a 3 year old laptop and it takes up too much space and slows it down too much. You'll be ok on a newer machine though.

Cheers for all the replies.

Opinions seem to be a bit mixed so i might do some research and see if i can acquire a copy without being separated from my hard earned cash...

Any more advice is more than welcome still

With the wealth of information on here I doubt that they would be worth the money
I've never had anything wrong with my car that couldn't be sussed out on here and never seen a question go unanswered
Between here and loads of other VAG based forums you'll not be stuck
