Hi,
I have recently bought a 2017 Seat Leon and wanting to change the led light within the wireless charging area. It’s currently white led I believe but gives off very little light and I’m wanting to change it to a red led to match with the rest of the ambient lighting. Has anyone changed there’s?
It’s very awkward to get to, so any help in how to get the original once out I would greatly appreciate it

You need to remove the air con/heater panel. It just unclips. Start at the bottom and pull forward. Once out you'll be able to access rear of light and push it out. Mine didn't have the light fitted, so I used a couple of red LEDs tapped into the footwell lights.

Thanks for your help. I managed to get the light off, can I ask where you got your LEDs from please? A bit stuck as to how to change it to red and can’t really find anyone locally who would change the diode on the board either :( appreciate your help?

Details of what I used are here, post 7,843 and there's a picture on page 392.

As I said, I didn't have the light to start with so I drilled holes to mount the LEDs.
I couldn't tell from your picture, but does the board unclip from the holder? Maybe you could replace it completely, with one with red LED? I recently fitted rear footwell LEDs and I swapped out the boards for ones with red LEDs. I'll see if I can find a link for the place I got them. Maybe they do a replacement red LED.
Failing that, maybe you could blank off the hole and mount LEDs as I did?
I'll take a picture of mine tomorrow so you'll have a better idea.
