Leon Mk2 - Modifications

Hi All,

I have recently purchased a Seat Leon 105 BHP 1.9TDI Stylance in Silver.

It has alot of nice gadgets with it, but i want to do a few OEM+ Mods.

Visual wise, i know you cant do much apart from the FR Front/Back bumper, but what about black vinyl wrap on the side view mirrors, what should i carbon wrap? Any tinting i could do? Any ideas?

Engine wise i was interested in either a pipercross pannel filter or green cotton filter. But are these going to help me achieve more BHP/Acceleration? Or are they just going to make a grunt & ruin my good MPG?

Also i don't know of any tuning centres in my local area, i live in east sussex. Does anyone know of any reputable companies? I was hoping to get from 105 - 145 BHP from a map as i've heard alot of stories confirming this is possible. Is there anything i need to achieve this figure or is it a standard map?

Wheels - what are the best wheels to have OEM+ i was looking an some Audi ones but was just interested , i think my wheel fitment is 5x100 or 5x112 - can anyone confirm?

Suspension - Ideally i would like AIR but thats a million bucks so i was interested if anyone with my car has fitted springs/coilovers and how their ride has been affected? Is it really bumpy? Does anything scrape? Would my ride heigh be good with 18" wheels on? Would they look to big.

Obviously by now you have realised i have to many questions & althought with me researching it i can't seem to find any quick modifications that make a nice difference without forking out an arm and a leg!

SOMEONE HELP ME!

Thanks
Liam

Answers to all them can be found if you searched each individually ;)

1) vinyl wrap mirror caps, badges, grill etc. you could also fit a front splitter. (What year/reg is your car?)
Window tints can be done although the rear quarter panels need to be vinyl wrapped as they are plastic.

2) Probably a waste of money

3) AMD Essex. Stage 1 is just a remap, no mods required.

4) Personal taste. PCD is 5x112

5) springs give a lower ride and better handling (eibach or H&R). Coilovers are a better solution I believe, but are more costly.

Visual - Mine is a 1.9TDi and Modded out. Worth a look for ideas, I could list soo much lol

Engine - Panel Filters are useless, even though I have a Pipercross one dont do jack lol. Get a REVO remap on it or head up to darkside/shark performance for a map. Should get that 145BHP no probs also around 245lb/ft torque

Wheels - Soo many to choose from but 5x112 is what your after.

Suspension - Coilovers I have FK highsports, but I would say look into Eibach sportlines for £180ish. Coilovers are bumpy and change the ride alot.

Any questions just ask :)

EDIT: JArre Beat me to it lol
