Basically my downpipe has snapped off on the welds right by the flexi/turbo so I'm looking at decat pipes rather than a new downpipe/cat.
Is a mk4 golf gti 1.8t decat pipe the same as a leon mk1 1.8t? I'm thinking yes but need confirmation first please.

There is 2 places for the lambdas. Fitted it today and took all my boost pipes off while I was there to check for a boost leak which I have and iv found there is oil in the intercooler which makes sense so I'm going to start prepping for new turbo. Is it the k03s on 1.8t Leon ? Iv ordered gaskets for oil feed/return coolant feed/return washers. All manifold and turbo gaskets. Anything else il need bar the turbo?

a small amount of oil in the intercooler pipe work is fine, specially if its the first time the pipes have been off.

i wouldnt go racing out to buy a turbo. clean the pipework and re-check in a couple month

The oil was in the intercooler. As I took the pancake pipe off the inter cooler pushed back and it all dripped out into my eyes and hair lol

yeah there always is, the seals weep slightly, id clean and check again when you can waste of money splashing out on a turbo for no reason

Hmm ok il give it a while. Iv ordered all gaskets and washers so ain't wasted too much money yet. Iv been told the turbo could be on its way out because I just loose all boost when the cars been running a while. On first start up its fine. Iv been looking for a boost leak bit can't find anything that's gonna make me have no boost whatsoever

Any good? Seems like a bargain. Just need the lambda spacer aswell yea? I'd be running mine with just the standard back box (removed centre box) hoping it won't be too loud
