Leon Inlet Pipe

on the leon 1.8 20vt just wondering if the inlet manifold pipe would fit my ibiza cupra?
i have an adapter installed into my origional inlet pipe for my baileys dumpvalve im wanting to get rid of this and will need new pipe here to do so.
might aswell get a silicone 1 dont realy want to trial and error!

they dont do a silicone hose kit for this engine code of ibiza it is desperate as dumpvalve is causing engine management light to come and go!

could understand if it doesnt fit as leon has diffrent setup and could have diffrent angles for the pipe?

it looks about the same samp inlet manifold side shap and size and intercooler is roughly in the same place i loked at this but can only get it in a kit and i only wanted the one hose

i might just push the boat out and buy the forge 007 dv and get the leon samco inlet pipe in red to suit my seat sport strut brace wen i get it.
wheres the cheapest place to buy the forge 007dv nearly 100quid direct off them!

look at the dealers on this site like big boys toys and others like that some do it for around 75 to 80 i belive

found a seperataly sold leon cupra r inlet silicone hose for £95 in red so after i buy the coilovers off sisson maybe next weekend will try this! if you go on the apr website you can find a distribtor near where you live and take a look

leon cupra r inlet pipe is on the other side a leon cupra on will fit or fr but not cupra r!

I think you mighht be gettin mixed up on the inlet pipe thing. 95 quid sounds more like a turbo inlet pipe.


You could just leave the t-piece there and make it a DV relocation kit.


Just but a new one from Seat. and buy a proper DV.

this was already done to the car when i bought it so old recirculating valve is in the bin and the pipe.

phill.w on the discription of the pipe it says throttle body pipe so am pretty sure that this is the pipe im after as other pipe would be called the induction pipe. i will give them a ring and tell them what im after tho. (just incase ur right)

the car seems to be ok but just recently engine light keeps coming on and i keep having to clear the code which is recirculating valve hence why want the forge007 back in proper loaction of existing r.valve. ive bought the pipe from the boost pipe (after being on backorder!) now just trying to find a cheap forge 007 and new innlet pipe as dont want a bodged looking standard pipe!

gaz-sorry put leon cupraR but meant leon cupra 1.8t they have a pipe for the octavia vrs 1.8t probably the same thing? well im gonna give this a go!

ive sent aweseme gti and a few other companys an email saying i would like this innlet pipe for the leon cupra and no reply shall i just keep nagging them?
