was reversing in to a space and clipped my left front head light on the rim bit of a metal bollard. the light hasnot cracked or smashed, the left hand side of it has just been pushed in and the light mounts have snapped. i have tried to pop it back out with no joy, needs to go forward about 4mm so it sits on a little lip of the wing....

what do i do??? lol

The headlight is held on by brackets on the top and btm. If the top ones have bent there is a fair chance that the bottom ones have bent. If it's wedged in i'd leave it till you've got a new light. It cant come out without removing the front bumper (on an R anyhow) which is a **** to remove and put back on. What type of bumper do you have, the earlier ones were easier?

I'd also avoid driving at night as your alignment will be well out of whack, dunno if you'd get pulled for it though.

go to your local halfords and get a colour pen

follow instructions, as long as you put primer on before rust sets in you will be ok
