leon fr tfsi - suggestions for name?

Hi all.

Just a wee note to say hello.

Got really excited about the delivery of my new car and stumbled across this forum.

Awaiting my new arrival on 1st March. It's a candy white Leon FR. It has 18" alloys and bluetooth. I already have a Leon (06 Reference - all I could afford at the time!) and can't wait for the real deal!

My only concern after reading through this forum is about the ride quality. I realise the 18" wheels won't help, but is it really that bad??

I usually give my car a name. I have previously had: Leo, Dolly, George, Mildred, Hugo and Elvis.

Any thoughts???

Cheers

Ride quality depended entirely on my mood I found; if I was in the mood to hammer it along it was great and really involving, if I was knackered and driving a long way, particularly over poor surfaces it did wear me down a little.
However 99% of the time awesome!

My car is called Bess. My bike is called Bess. My last cars and bikes were called Bess too. What ever I drive/ride is my trusty steed, so Bess works well :)

The g/f's Leon is called Larry :)

Edit: Welcome to the forum. If you fancy meeting some of the others off the forum, there are a fair few of us going to Crail on the 2nd of March. You dont have to run the car, but you will be able to meet like minded individuals with the passion for the same car :)

The ride is a lot harder than on the reference but you will still love the car.

Did you buy from Colin or Mike at Bickets?

Gave 'em the chance, the same as the last time with the Reference, but trade in value and overall deal available was disappointing. Ended up at Arnold Clark in Paisley and saved £1200 (+ bluetooth and half price wheel upgrade) over Bickets. Better in my pocket than in theirs!

I was under the impression that there is a face lift Leon being launched around April time (according to the world car fans website and others) could be worth waiting..........

Mine is also a candy white FR (with 18's), I call it Leukothea. No, not leukemia, Leukothea is a feminine name and means "view in white" in greek. I usually name my cars after their colours (5 cars & 2 colours so far, either white or shade of light blue hehe).
