In last week or so Leon started playing up again, it seems to be down on power as doesnt feel like it wants to accelerate. Previously in 1st and 2nd gear when go full throttle can feel turbo kick in and felt like car wanted to accelerate now nothing!!! Any ideas on what this could be??

try unplugging your MAF. go for a short drive and see if it feels better. if so you've found the problem. dont drive to far though with it unplugged.

Had a look and cant see any split pipes but will have a more detailed look. The fuel consumption has dropped as well!
I have had the car less than a year and been back to garage 7 times with numerous faults with the last 4 times all being to do with throttle angle sensor. Seat replaced the throttle body recently could that be the problem??

Tried removing MAF sensor and no differenece. But now the TCS light is perminantly on and cant be turned off!!
When put foot down can hear what sounds like turbo spool up and when back off can here whooshing noise but doesnt accelerate like turbo kicking in!

You need to VAG-COM it mate. You could be guessing for ages before you find it by yourself, when the ECU might be able to tell you in an instant.

Been back to main dealership who reset ECU to clear MAF sensor fault and replace MAF sensor, however problem still not completely solved. There response when i told them it was not fixed was that there diagnostic software showed no faults so nothing tehy could do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had another look but cant see any spli hoses but there is a constant ticking noise that gets faster as revs?
But still get loud whooshing noise when ever i get above 2ooo rpm?

That sounds like a boost leak. Again, vag-com can tell you what the ECU is requesting vs what is actually being delivered. What area are you in ?

I have the same problem i think on mine. Had mine remapped about 8 months ago and was flying up until about 4 weeks ago and just seems down on power. Boost gauge is only reading about 3 psi, but know that is boosting more than that as i have the old limp mode issue (5 psi) on first start up sometimes, but car still has more power than limp mode. Just nowhere near as quick as it was. I have some silicon hoses under the bonnet and cant really see any leaks so going to have to get vag com on it. Anyone is the Swansea/Cardiff area have Vag-Com (mine just aint working :() and willing to have a quick look for a pint?

Been doing bit of research on here and internet, could the slight loss of power and whooshing noise be a faulty DV valve releaseing boost pressure? Is there any way i could check this??

Could give the dv a service. Just had a look and forge is easily servicable but only some bailey ones (which mine is) are and are a bit more difficult to do. If you have a standard one not really worth doing either just replace or upgrade to one of above mate.

Replaced standard bosch DV last night with new forge DV but still no improvement. Still get whooshing sound the whole time the turbo is spinning, car just doesnt rev as quickly and lacks power tope end.
Any help would be appreciated
