Hi all, I'm proud owner of the First LEON FR, in the Dominican Republic, if you come by, when you see a Candy White FR, it's my baby.

Now, to the question, what do you recommend for some basic tune ups?

I mean air filters, blowoff valves, etc.

since it's 08 and DSG, I came to you guys so I can have a more expert advice, so, thanks in advance.

Congrats mate to having the first on the island!

Speak to Star performance they may be able to post you a module containing a remap that should give you 260 - 280bhp

You wont get a blow off valve to work with your enign unless its a recirulating one and there isnt really any benefit from changing it from the standard valve!

How it works is it re-writes the ECU code to modify variouos engine parameters to increase performance. If you have the module you can return the code to standard if need be.

All of them - The airbox should be next to the engine not under the engine cover!

erm, he's talknig about TFSI not a disel.

So only panel filter can be fitted wirhout getting rid or modding the engine cover.

so pipercross or K&N ones, possibly green filter as well.

I dnt like it personally, its basically a K&N panel filter, with a new intake funnel, which i dont really think does alot. And its expensive too.

Nice, so then what Intake Kit do you recommend? I don´t want to remove the Engine Cover, so I really don't know. The carbonio really is expensive, but if there is something better, less expensive, and that doesn't need removal of the cover, Count me in.

So, you think only the filter is a nice option? or should I finally go with the Carbonio? If the filter alone does a good job, it can be an option.

What about Neuspeed Hi-Flow Turbo Discharge Conversion Kit? Is it worth it?
