I recently had my car serviced and i had asked the dealers to look at a fog light (passenger side) on my car as is frosted up due to water getting in somewhere. I have checked the front of the fog light lense and there doesnt same to be a crack in it. I asked the dealers to fix this under warranty and they are saying that it not covered under warrantly as it has happened while i have been driving the car and i stone has cracked the lense. What should i do as im sure it isnt cracked, it must be letting water in somewhere from the bakc of light?

Ask them to show you the crack. If they can't then demand it is fixed under warranty.

As Dev said, if they can't show you the crack I can't see how they can refuse to do it under warranty, I suppose they will try every trick in the book to try and get out of it though :(

Ok guys the dealer says the light is cracked from behind the light ,wtf?. Apparently a stone has went under the wheel arch and crack the light from behind, this sounds like bu11sh1t to me, im standing my ground on this as i feel its an excuse for not wanting to fix this.

Try another dealer if there is one local to you??

Some will do things under warranty that others dont. It does sound like the dealer youve gone to is talking out his rear end though. :ban:
