just curious on bhp and torque figures for them both, i have the cupra tdi but another person claims the civic will eat me alive lol, wich i doubt, as i think will lack the tourque, am i wrong to think the leon will win

1.9tdi 150bhp and 320nm!!! 1333kgs 134mph tops 8.6secs 0-60

Is that the Civic 1.6 Sport that has the Type-R bodykit...?

If so...then it would have a 0-60 of around 10.4 secs, a good 2 seconds slower than the Cupra TDI. Also a LOT more Torque with the TDI.

they do a 2.0 type s which has 157 which would just be faster than a standard 150

Depends what age the civic is, my mate had a 97' ? 1.6 V-tec (VTI) and it was pretty rapid - 160bhp if I remember with a sub 8 second 0-60..
Whatever it is, just make sure you race him up a hill and you'll be laughing

My brother had the v-tech 1.6 160bhp special edition one. They are quick. Stayed with my LC when it was standard but relatively easily defeated after remap.

If its the VTi/SiR 160bhp version, it will kill you off the line...and has 137mph tops, those things only weights bit over 1000kg...revs up to 8000rpm.

I used to have -97 VTi and it was rapid ride.
Dont place any bets...even than you have more torq...its only the other side of the coin.
