Please can somebody advise me - I have a 2003 Mk1 Leon Cupra

I am looking to remap to 210 or 225bhp I am assuming as I have a 2003 car I'll get the 225bhp a local company called Celtic tuning has offered me this map.

some questions/expereices I am trying to find are

1. can somebody offer some real lfe experince in terms of MPG loss on remapped Leons?
2. How about engine life, mine is 60k I would like to get another 100k out of it with no problems if poss
3. has anyone used Celtic tuning?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated, I am pretty new here also and glad to have found this superb forum

The BHP figures quoted are for the standard Cupra R variants.
I've got a Custom Code generic remap by JBS. Stage 1, should take have taken her to 210bhp. She's been on 2 rollers and she's hasn't put out more than 196 bhp.

To get higher bhp you will need and a performance exhaust from manifold all the way through.
Your also better off changing the Diverter Valve. 99.9% of people recommend a Forge 007 replacement.
I've got a Baileys DV30, and also had the Forge SPLT R valve on with no problems at all.

A stage 2 will get around 230 ish, but the K03s (if fitted to yours) will be at it's limit.

With the standard exhaust and intake on you Leon cupra, you will probably get maybe 210 bhp, maybe a little more.

The Leon Cupra R uses a different turbo to the Leon cupra, so you won't get the same power without other mods aswell i.e. Exhast, intake, FMIC etc.

As mark said, 230 BHP is the absolute MAX you can get from a K03s turbo (which yours has).

My revo stage 1 made 202bhp on dyno dynamics rollers on a day when we were all down on expected results. Only mods were green filter and 007p valve

Many on here have made 240 with a turbo back exhaust and a good custom map.

with the stock exhaust 210-220.

Try putting celtic tuning in the search box for more info :)

I have also been looking at Celtic Tuning. On their web page there are a few testimonials from guys with seats who seem pretty happy.

I think the only thing that would bother me is that it seems to be a mobile service so may not be put on rollers so you may not know what they have actually acheived as it seems to just be an upload.
