Leon cupra 300 st 4 drive timing belt or chain

Hi hopefully you all can help
I have just bought a Leon cupra 300 ST 4 drive now am trying to find out if it’s timing belt or timing chain, on some sites it says chain but others have said if got black casing on left side of the engine it’s timing belt, I checked and it has the black casing. Four sites have said it has timing chain but need to make sure for defo.

If the engine I believe you have is this one, then it is chain driven.

Yep same car as me. It's a chain. Lovin the blue colour by the way. I only bought mine a few weeks ago too. Absolutely loving it!

Thanks mate yeah just found out today about it being a chain for defo getting the Haldex diff oil done beginning of jan it got 30k on it and don’t think it has been done so piece of mind for me
