Hi Guys,
as the title says - My Leon Cupra Sport does this under gentle acceleration. It almost feels like when you have a shafted dizzy cap and rotor arm. Used to happen to my old golf the in the winter if the cap and rotor arm were worn anyway.
THe car almost splutters when feathering the throttle but if you floor it the car accelerates hard without any problems like you would expect. It only happens when i am being conservative with the throttle. When i'm brutal with it the car flies. Could it even be fuel starvation? Or a prob with the turbo? Doesn't sound like there are any leaks and the problem would be more apparent under hard acceleration if it was a turbo leak. It certainly would feel under power if it was a leak. Feels more like an ignition problem.
I've checked for ecu faults with my vagcom and nothing comes up.
Any ideas???
