Leon advice required - Re: exhaust

Hi Folks,

I need a little advice. I am currently driving a Leon 1.6S 2004 but I managed to get my hands on LCR bumpers and LCR 17" Rims and all has been fitted.

My only problem is that I need to replace the exhaust and im curious as to know if anyone can tell me if the exhaust of a 2004 LCR will fit straight onto my Leon with no serious problems.

Any help would be very much appreciated

as far as i am aware the manifold will not fit directly, you would need some kind of connector. i know VERY little about this though!

The manifold will not fit as the LCR has a turbo. The backbox probably would (so it would exit at the right place in the bumper) but wouldnt do you any favours performance wise. Due to having an incorrect back pressure it would make the car seem very flat, performance wise

I'd personally get a custom exhaust. If you get an LCR one you might end up with a less than perfect fit. If you go for a 1.6 exhaust, you might end up with an exhaust that doesn't fit the bumper perfectly.

If you go custom, you can have the exhaust style, sound and fitment exactly as you want and, more importantly, need it

yup defo custom, even if its just a custom back box, ~£150!
