Just a heads up, Just went to check the oil after a quick run home and the tip of the dipstick just came apart! It has snapped just on the first kink, the 'full' mark.

I was lucky it came off as I wiped it and not in the sump. So maybe be careful/check yours is not weak in that area next time you check your oil.

I don't suppose anyone has the part number do they?? Cheers.

Is your car's engine code DKZA?

If it is, then the part number of the oil dipstick should be 06K115611B

Brilliant! Thank you very much.

Well worth checking if you have this engine just in case.
Wish I had. Engine displacements bigger than 1.6 liters are taxed very heavily in my country, so most of us have to make do with smaller ones, like my 1.4/125hp engine. Anyway, I have no complaints and I'm happy with it :)
