Leon 1.6S Front Brakes

LEON 1.6 16V AZD engine - 2001

Does anyone know for certain if the front discs are 256mm or 288mm. Wheels on the car were 15" standard. It's not obvious. VagCat shows floating caliper disc brake / ITT front / 1LE,1ZE,1ZD PR-1LE at 288mm - I'm guessing 1ZD has something to do with AZD...... I'm also guessing 256 were non-ventilated discs and 288 ventilated.; 256 were under 14" wheels and 288 on 15"..........

I'm 99% sure they're 256mm. I'll try and digout my receipt from star once i get home and see if there is more info on that.

Why'd you ask, thought you had decent brakes on your car, not like on my 1.6

Sorry, it doesn't say. even checked the hanes manual for the golf and it says either 256mm or 280mm

i'm sure its 256mm though

Can you find the code from the boot? 1LS is 288mm
