Led canbus number plate bulbs??

I have had these LEDs fitted in my 2010 Leon FR f/l for a month now without any errors.

Yeah definitely worth actually taking a trip and looking at them for myself as I experienced when trying the exact same thing at the Audi dealers with the Exeo. The apparent 'parts manager' comes out to take my query about LED number plate bulbs....his reply was "audi's don't have LED number plate bulbs, I think you mean Mercedes. ..." I dragged the silly smug B@#!÷×% over to every car in the showroom...R8, A4, A3, A5, A6 and soon he realised he should never have got the job as a 'parts manager'. Really hacks me off when they just try to fob you off as if you know nothing. There's only Dave at Sere NI who knows what he's on with!

Yes know what you mean,a lot of these parts people couldn't find their arse with both hands in a lit room and they find buying customers a real inconvenience and would rather they didn't keep coming in and buying parts and disturbing their day

I'll pop one of my mk3 lights out over the weekend and measure the number plate light and the opening it slots into in the bumper and post it up on here

Are the mk3 holders clipped in ir screwed? My FL Leons are screwed in and most i can find online are clipped in

Aaz I'm determined to get us a solution brother haha I'm going down to Seat Sheffield tomorrow for a butchers at the LEDs in the MK3 i'll post you on my findings.

Mk 3 number plate light measurements

Hi, have just measured the cut out for the number plate lights on the mark 3 leon
Its 74mm × 26 mm

It may be half a mm either way, as its dark outside pouring with rain and I was trying to measure it upside down with a 5 meter fat max tape measure whilst holding the torch lol

Anyway the size maybe of use to someone
