Leather seats?

I'm getting my new 2.0 TFSI on monday, so I can't wait for the weekend, which hasn't started, to end.... however, has any one seen the new Leon with a leather interior, í'm thinking about having this fitted, but it would be nice to see some pictures before I re-decorate the lounge.... and not to mention spending more money on the car...

By the way this is my first post in this forum, so hello to everybody!

Any chance of a small review, pictures etc. I am thinking of getting one instead of the Octy vRS i have at the moment.
I personally think they look very good.

Thanks.

BUY ONE!:)

I have had my 2.0TFSi for 3 weeks now, still only done 450 miles but compared to my last 2003 Cupra, it is a much nicer car to drive on the whole. Best Seat I have driven so far, out of the 3 I have owned.

Although I went mad with my options, I would recommend having the Bi-Xenons fitted. I always thought them to be a pain in the backside when a car fitted with them came towards you, but from a drivers point of view, excellent! safer at night, main beam like daylight.

There is a picture around on here with a black one re-trimmed in red leather ... Looks excellent!

Stuart, many thanks for the pics that looks very nice (great spec), I like it in black, but will probably end up with a red one.

Did you get a discount on the price or just a good px deal.

It looks nice in Black...Just cleaned today in the pictures:D if you go for red, go for the Ruby red metallic.. if I had seen a Leon in this colour I would have gone for it.. looks nothing like the brochure or website. Always said I would never have another black after my last Cupra, but I weekend:D

Not sure if I did get a discount on the car itself, but I belive I did get a good price for my 2003 Leon Cupra, the new one with all the options, was the best part of £19k:censored: , and they gave me £7600 for my part ex with 48000 on the clock.

I did check online, and they reckon the car with 30000 on the clock is worth £7k, so with the extra milage, I think I did well. Suppose being a good customer helps, this is my 3rd car from them in 5 years. I would imagine it was worth about £6500 or so with that miileage

Agreed

Saw one today in that colour, looked lovely and it hid the dirt quite well too..

It is CD based, As for being worth £1.5K errrrr NO! but I prefer the factory fit look, looks better than a unit stuck to the windscreen or dash. Then again, I came out the showroom thinking I must be mad....Just spent £19k on a Leon :)

I went in to see my Black TFSI today. I pick it up on Wednesday and called in to order some mats. My car was sat there in the show room with my 06 plate on waiting for me to drive it but I have to wait till wednesday. I seen a Black TDI outside and it looked great in the sunlight. The wheels looked bigger outside too which was very strange.

No mate, I purchased 2 62mm chrome extensions from a local shop, only cost £10 for the pair, cheaper than the Seat one.

That was my only complaint with the car, 2 grey tail pipes:( look bigger and better with the trims on.

think i might have to get some trims for mine when it arrives - they do look nice on yours.

im based fairly close to you so where did you pick yours up from? they were cheap compared with going to places like halfrauds...

I agree, they make the exhaust look bigger, and definetly better than to plain grey tail pipes. The standard exhaust is 56mm (i think) the trins are 62mm.

If you give me a call, PM or email, I can get some picked up for you, I got them picked up from a customer of mine in Leeds, runs an accessory shop, like you say cheaper than Halfords.. I get them a bit cheaper as well:)

If you live to far from Leeds to collect, I could post them, but we could sort this out at the time.

when my car arrives i will take you up on that offer.

without wanting to have you talk work on a sunday (and hijack this thread lol) i noticed that you are a "VAG Parts Specialist" so does that mean you would be the right person to ask about getting hold of one? lol

This might seem really sad but im after a copy of the manual for the new Leon and my local dealer needs a VIN code before they can order it. I dont have one because i dont have the car yet - is this something you could source?

I work for Euro Car Parts in Leeds (details in Sig), but things like handbooks we do not do. What I can "try" to do is ask my dealer if they can get hold of a copy for me. I have a good relationship with them, so I may be able to do it, not sure, or at what cost, but I will see what I can do in the morning.

Thanks Stuart, not sure I will go for a red interior though.

I'm glad to hear that you are happy with the car, can't wait to get the car in a couple of hours.
