Lease maintenance against service costs

I’m considering leasing a pre-registered Cupra Ateca for 3 years. Since it’s pre-registered, I’ll likely need to get an MOT before returning it. I’m debating whether to pay for the maintenance package or handle services and repairs myself. The maintenance package costs £29 per month (£348 per year) and covers services, repairs, MOT, breakdown, and tyres. Given that I drive around 8,000 miles a year, what kind of service and repair costs should I expect in the first 3 years including the MOT. Would the £29 per month maintenance package be a good deal?

This is where I refer people to the Erwin maintenance manual so you can run down what is in the service package against what isn't.

The service packages just contain the minimum level of service with things left out, unbundled in pricing terms. You have to bundle them back in. I'm assuming the Erwin manual covers the Ateca Cupra model you have. Not sure You can have a look at the maintenance packages offered whether there is a two year option. You can in the past buy four years ones but reckon they are completely taken off the market now. That was direct on the website. Basically the Seat / Cupra ones are done via the Vag insurance associated finance company. Once you have the maintenance plan the garage applies for its money to them at each service. I believe they may still sell two year plans. You have to do the numbers. So things to watch out for is what is outside the plan. Brake fluid, ac recharge and Haldex oil are outside. Depends which Ateca Cupra we are talking about, the plan etc and the possibility of buying more upfront.
