unusual for an evaporator to leak, or are you refering to the condensor which sits by the radiator. have you had it checked with nitrogen or had a dye put in to trace where the leak is from?

yeah it's been into the dealer who couldn't find any leaks so just re charged the system & hoped it was just low on gas but after 2 weeks it stopped working again. I then had an indipendent air con specialist look at it who could find no obvious leaks either. The evaporator is about the only part that can't be seen.

sounds like neither off them no wot they are doing then. it wants gassing up with a dye and then the leak can be found by using a uv lamp, or it wants a nitrogen check

I got all the leaks repaired In June last year. turns out I had a leak on the condenser which had to be replaced, plus a leak where the pipes go into the evaporator through the bulkhead.
Well 9 months on I've looked under the bonnet & found its leaking again. You can clearly see the dye coming out

Any ideas?
