17069 - ECM Power Relay Control Circuit (J271): Open Circuit
P0685 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17925 - Power Supply Relay for ECU (J271 or J363): Electrical Malfunction
P1517 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Can anyine throw some light on what/where the J271 relay is or if these codes point to something else?

The car has failed to start twice in the last 3 weeks, it just turns over for a bit then will fire up and run rough with the EPC light on. Turn it off and start it again and it'll be fine

Any help appreciated!

Luckily i had an email subscription to this thread! I figured out the problem

The relay is under the bonnet in a little box of its own. I pulled the relay out and noticed one of the spade connectors in the relay connector was sitting a bit low. Sure enough it was unclipped so when the relay was pushed it the spade connector was pushed out the bottom which gave the intermittent connection. I clicked the wiring back into place and i haven't had a problem since
