Hi Gents

I have a strange quirk with my 2003 lcr that has appeared over the last few months. You get a vibration feeling when gripping the wheel or with feet on peddles when car is sat idlling. Its not regular, its more of an intermittant little jerk or cough of the engine. Its nothing major just a little quirk id like to get rid of. Any suggestions or experiences of similar thing would b great

Many thanks

Have you had the car since new? Could a previous owner have changed the dog bone engine mount for a performance one? (common mod) This can cause some vibration through to the steering/peddles.

i have not owned the car from new mate but its all standard under there. It was totally standard when i bought it a year ago. All i have done is forge dv and defo boost gauge. Revo tempting me more every day now. Thanks for the idea though.

It has recently had a replacement air conditioner under warranty but i cant think how that would cause an irregular vibration

I used to have an intermittent vibration through the pedals, it happened when I turned the car off, about 5-seconds long, virbation and sound together.......kept happening for a few months then stopped and has never returned.......problem is now it's disappeared I can't trace it and don;t know what the problem was

Very odd.....not much help I know......

Funnily enough Rudd i also had that problem big vibration through pedles and sound almost like a subwoofer on switch off. Very weird mine went away when the aircon pump was replaced. It only used to happen occaisionaly though. But i am still stuck as to why my car should have this little "lumpiness" at idle. Does your car sound a little rough when you switch it on from cold? Where did you get your piono black dash kit (any pics)
