I have a SPEC clutch which is rated for 575nm and a SPEC flywheel, works good, but I'd never go for it again due to the flywheel chatter.
It also have a odd thing with gripping the gear when rolling in gear up to a stop light.

the guy that had mine put a standard clutch on it a year ago, about 15k its done and its slipping already. Due to it being a stage 2 hybrid i think. Gutted another expense. Cant believe he never put an uprated one in!

Ohh... around 1600£, but I dont think you can compare danish prices with UK prices. Clutch and flywheel itself was 1100£, rest was labour!

Would an r32 clutch fit in a lcr? Might be a totally stupid question but i dont know. I know there a fair bit stronger than a lcr clutch

I too have a Spec clutch, it's a stage 1 I've got which is good for 320ft-lbs, I HATE IT!!!!

South bend are supposed to be good, but cannot recommend the Spec one

Yes the R32 is a straight swap into an LCR great upgrade as its cosiderably stronger, only about £30 more expensive WINNER!!

Johnboy do you know how much stronger the r32 clutch is? I thought normally aspirated clutches struggle to deal with turbo engines torque?

Also what is Mk4 centre tunnel mod?

How longs a piece of string dont know in friction terms but have been told by a very knowledgable tuner that its considerably stronger, spose it would need to be weighing 200kgs more with 4 wheel drive giving ultimate grip. anywho mines in for clutch in 5 weeks time so will report back if interested.
Ignore the MK4 tunnel it was a fruitless event.

consider an audi tt quattro oe clutch

I presume that is the strongest option in the stock format, I have been told it is wise to change the flywheel as well, what are the options with the TT clutch?

Also do you use the LCR flywheel or have to go with the R32/TT flywheel?

Slave cylinder is the same flywheel will and should be interchangable but wont know for certain until I get mine done as it would appear there isnt a great deal of info on anyone doing this mod before now.
It was the same when i changed the front ARB for the R32 one no posts had been made to say whether or not it was possible but thankfully it was.
