LCR Stuttering at 3000rpm in 2nd/3rd any ideas

My 2003 LCR has just began to stutter when accelerating at around 3000rpm, the engine management light flashes for a short period then goes off.

You guys got any ideas??

Prob a coil pack on the way out. Mine did that a while back easy fix

coil pack. i've had 3 go recently. cost about £18 from eurocarparts
