ive had my lcr for a few mounths and i want to put my bass box into the boot. iwanted to now how to take the stereo out and dose it have the red and white leads to conect it to the box .cheers gb

no RCA connectors on the rear of the head unit im afraid!

there is a way around this i think (where you connect the sub/amp to a door speaker i think!)


im sure someone will help or search the net! ;)

If you chop up an old plastic card (credit card etc) into 4-5mm strips, there are two slots at the bottom of the radio which you can push these into, and it unclips the securing tabs (keep them pushed in as you gently pull the cassette slot)

The back of the heaunit doesn't have phono outputs though, so you'll have to use the speaker level inputs on your amp (if available)

the original stereo has slots at the bottom you will have to either buy the pins or use something like a metal nail file(the mrs) then pull the stereo out.

to connecct a sub there are no RCA on the head unit but if ur amp has a digital connection then then existing wires can be used or you can get an adapter from ebay. best bet is upgrade the head buy a fascia for £7,25 off ebay and enjoy some bass!
