Make sure its central at the front with the clips, saw them off, screw in, then bend to fit around the bumper and saw off the ends to fit snug with the bumper.

Simple :)

But then again when I rip mine off on a weekly basis, it does become easier each time I fit it!

I must admit I did my last splitter in stages as it was freezing outside. Left some screws to just hold it on then slowly put 1 in each day till it was done lol.

It's ALOT easier on the Mk3's bud cos your bumper are a lot flatter underneath and a lot squarer. (no offence of course!) :D

The MK4 Cupra bumper is also flatter underneath, and alot squarer than a pre-facelift/facelift bumper mate :)

MK4 Cupra bumpers + LCR splitter = the sex imho

Its easier to fit the LCR splitter to a Cupra bumper than a none cupra bumper :)

But then again its not hard to fit a LCR splitter to a none cupra bumper really either!

I done mine a few weeks ago. Its a little harder on the CUpra becasue the bumper isn't flat on the bottom. It took me and a friend to do mine, impossible to do it well on your own.

But it does look A LOT better with it on:happy:

Iv'e fitted two LCR splitters on my own, and both were perfectly fine!

I know a few others that do it, just need to take your time!

I did both my pre-facelifts fine. Think its all to do with how good you are with the old screwdriver.

i fitted one to my 05 FR on wednesday, took me and a mate about an hour to do, though we did have a pit so was easier to hold screw etc. just take your time, it'll all be good

Mine came pre-fitted! Cheers Guinness! All i did was add 4 spacers in the middle part of the splitter to make it sit straight.

I wonder if it does create any downforce at speed?
