lcr sounds a bit rough!!!!

when i was driving home the other night my car suddently started juddering and wudnt really go over 2500k in any gear, thought my car had gone in limp mode???? anyone?

and the emmissions light on my dash would flash inconsistently!
the light was on permanently before due to having a panel filter fitted i suppose!
when i got home i thought the maf might of been faulty???? yet again anyone?

also found a split in a small bore hose that goes to my tip!
revoved my 007p and replaced with oem!

but since getting it home and changing the maf, repairing the hose and changing the dv it sounds like its tapping and still wont run right!

also its slightly overdue a service? could that be the ecu shutting down?

jus would like some general advice or if you have had the same problem?
Note ive got vag com on the way also!

Could be coilpacks but the symptoms are quite vague......you need VAG COM to get some fault codes ASAP

my guess is a failed coilpack mate just start the car and let it idle and unplug the coils 1 at a time,you should here the engine get worse and them apart from the failed one

was coil pak number 4, the one under all the pipes! gud fun! lol

same one that went on mine lol always the worst one to get to,be prepared for another to go soon though
