Watched tonight as my beloved black LCR was driven away by a lucky new owner.

I had the LCR for nearly 3 years and it was the best car I have ever owned.

It will be really missed.

Get a new FR TDI in Jan though which Iam hoping will soften the blow.

YX54 - Gone but NEVER forgotten...

off for a sob now.

Hope the new FR does you proud - I think that on the whole the mk2's are great cars and your new car will hopefully stack up well against the LCR :)

no matter how many times i work it out/know in my heart a diesel maybe better for me i dont ever see me getting rid of my car.....ive worked too damn hard on it and worked like a mofo to get stuff for it that

A) Was the best quality
B) New not second hand

Defi, KW, CC, K&N, ECS, all good names, plus various cleaning stuff over the years and regular V power etc etc. Just cant see me driving an average joe car tbh

Had my LCR over 7 years now .Still cant see me changing it anytime soon.I think its called love

Good work!

I'm on my 2nd. Once I sold it I soon realized not much come close to what I was after and for the price it was unbeatable value.

I nearly got the older style S3 instead, but a 52 plate was sitting on the same money as my 05 LCR now so come back to SEAT.

yeh, not sure what I want. The FR is a quick car, but dont know if I can do with the **** fuel economy of the 170 engine again.

170 diesel and rubbish fuel economy? What sort of figures we're you getting? Was it mapped?

I get averga eof about 42 and its totally standard. If I drive it like a granny I can get 50+, but why have an FR and drive like a granny?
