Lcr Sill Jacking Point Blanking Plates

I'm sure I've seen hints in the forum before but can anyone give me any hints/tips to fitting a front sill blanking plate back on.

I've been lying on the drive under the car for the last 45 mins and am about to go mad!![:@]

Alternatively get a screwdriver in between the sill and the car, from underneath. Pull the sill towards you (and away from the car) GENTLY, and then put the jacking cover on - this helps clip it into place.

lol at Rudd - works for me, in fact works EVERY time. Never did manage the brute force; nearly broke one doing that.

(and yes, I AM strong enough before you say anything :bleh: )

I made the fitter at my local tyre place look very stupid a couple of weeks ago with these wee things..... let him play about with the covers for 5 mins before showing him how to fit it.

Line the outer edge up, push back, and squeeze the inner edge into place - doddle!
