I have the relocation kit with a 007 and a green panel filter.
Inside with windows up you can hear the air rush through the extended pipework just as loud but a slightly different noise.
But with passenger window down it seems more audible outside the car.
Some people slate relocation kits but i have no leaks and the valve is touchable after driving, looks good too

I've got the relocation kit with the forge splitter-R and it has if anything made it sound louder. Not sure on whether it made car smoother as the clutch was on its way out when I fitted it so couldn't really give it a good test. But seems to be fine now clutch has been replaced

Spool seems the same throttle response better but this was done at the same time as N249 bypass so cant really tell if or by how much
