LCR Recaro interior- No middle rear seat belt?

Hi peeps

I had a look through the search, as always, but brought nothing up to answer my question.

I recently manged to purchase some LCR (bonus that they are the recaro's) but they do not have the middle seat belt

Now in my leather set I have a middle rear seat belt which is great as I often have my four nephews in my car but it's a bit of a pain without this mid belt.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

My S3 recaros have a lap belt in the middle, not sure on the LCR's.

I thought the Recaro interior was 2 + 2?. The rear bench was only for two people.
Technically should be a 4 seater on your V5?.

Recaros fitted to the early 210's were front and back. The back seat was a 2 seater only, so only 2 belts.

They then changed it to being front seats only on the 225. This had the standard 3 seat rear bench.

Correct. If you have a 210 & recaro rear seats, you only have 2 rear seats and no middle seat belt. It should be registered as a 4 seater.

Recaro rear does have a lap belt!!! The 225 has middle belt inside rear seat in the middle not possible on recaro rear due to armrest but 3 anchors and lap belt!

Perhaps yours has been pushed below seat try lifting both seat sqaubs up and see?

Hi Phil, lol ^^^! They can also be unhooked from single anchor point, so past owner removed maybe or even not put on to anchor point at build? In you defence Phil it does say in Handbook that car is considered a four seater if rear recaros fitted.

I am not sure I have the Recaro 'rear' seats. Any idea if they were marked somewhere?

My car is a yr. 2000 LC and I currently have a leather interior with rear centre belt. I am changing for the LCR interior. Interestingly the leather interior is from a 2003 car. I had to wire in the electrics (or rather someone elso did as I'm no electrician)

I like the idea of a proper rear seat belt but as a previous thread suggests perhaps I can affix a lap belt. That i will have to look into.

I took my seats out this evening in the dark for the umpteenth time so will check for bolt holes in morning.

The Recaro rears should mimic the front seat in shape, I know golfs had Recaro interiors alot of people fit these, and they are like the normal bench IIRC.

You would have to have a very little bum to fit in the middle lol

I shall look into a lap belt and get that sorted soon.

I'm pretty happy with the seats so far, first test out on the road tonight as I put them in this morning

Brembo's and Neuspeed ARBs to go on next week

What is it with people thinking they know what there talking about giving wrong advice on this forum,
The LCR with Recaro F+R has 5 seatbelts in total, it has 2 full rear seatbelts and a lapbelt in the middle.
Its also classed as a 5 seater, the log book is correct.

you should have lap belt bolted to the the floor mate my recaro interior fits fine and has the correct seat belt mounts dont know what the problem is
