Im sure that over the last six months my idle has started to vary a little more...its not hunting by a lot but you can feel it bobble a bit now and again...just wondering if Ive made it up and its always done this or something isnt quite right.....and if so what it likely to be...Im thinking possible candidates are maf, coil packs and possibly throttle body?

Anyone had/has similar?

I remember looking at the climate control screen ages ago and it was going from 680 - 720rpm or something like that... it's always done it and a lot of people have the same reading.

Maybe put some idle figures up, see how they compare?

Dodgy spark plug could also cause that symptom as I think. Well it did on the bike anyway.

same here. 04 LCR with a little rough idle. Less than 100rpm so I don't care about it. Its smooth as silk @ higher rpms and that's where it matters, right ;)

if its consistant and not getting worse its proberly fine.
you could try running with the maf unplugged to eliminate that. if you can get hold of vagcom check for faults... temp sender maybe?
