LCR oil temp location thread size/type?

looking at buying an oil temp gauge, can anyone confirm what size the oil temp blanked thread is, near to the filter?

Also whats the best way to seal it?

Spoke with one of the suppliers..............they seem to think that it is a 10mm thread? and you can use a gasket sealent to seal it?

Have searched the forum but can't find any info on actual thread size.

It is an M10 x 1mm thread - I bought the autometer sender and had to recut the thread with a 10x1 die, fits perfectly mate, just put a bit of PTFE tape around it, DO NOT over tighten the sender, remember the two mating parts are alloy and brass (both very soft metals).
