Hello

i have just put a K&N filter on my LCR and i couldnt be happier with the sound its really loud espesially the dump valve, however the next step is the full exhaust system.

I have been recomended the Milltek non resonated Cat Back system for around £340

I want it to be loud really quite in your face loud and i love the sound of back firing when changing gear and coming off the throtle, has any body got any advice what which exhaust ticks all the right boxes for the following

Loud (not a chavy corsa sound just a loud ass tuned note)
Back firing
nice rumble and low revs
not to expensive probablly looking tops at £400 which i think to be a reasonable price for somthing like this.

Any help will be appriciated, or if any one has any exhasuts like this for sale give me a shout lol

Only kidding mate. Im sure the non resonated is rather loud as alot of people have changed to the resonated due to the loudness

lol i thought you were being serious there like.
yeah i few people have said that milltek is the way to go with the non resonated exhaust but i wanted to get a bit of advice from other LCR owners who have mabey done it already lol

I'd also opt for the Blueflame personally. You might have to get your map tweaked to get a popping exhaust on overrun, but it won't do the cat any good! :)

the best exhaust note on a hot hatch has to go to the megane sport, the sound they make is awesome. Im doing mine the cheap way for now and cutting the centre silencer out :)

still won't be too loud - I have no cat or centre box - just the back box and it is still quite tame like!

I have no centre box replaced it with the centre pipe of a diesel leon, no change to the sound at all, spools up a touch quicker though :)

I remember my old Civic, it had an HKS exhaust and back fired really well, sounded gorgeous and the engine was untouched other than a CAI at that point. 1.8t's are quite tame in the noise department I think...I'm going EVO next :D
