Hi Everyone

I brought a LCR 225 today and later today i went over a speed hump quite slowly and i noticed there was this slight knocking noise coming from the driver front side. But this noise only appears when going over speed humps and not from general road bumps and pot holes. Anybody know what might be causing this?

thanks

Drop links are the most common thing to go, good news is that they are the easiest thing to replace as well, not too dear as well.

Don't use pattern parts though, use OEM as pattern don't last 5 minutes.

Well took the car for a drive today and after the 1st spped bump it made a knock but then it was gone. Been over a few speed humps today and the noise is gone. I brought the car from a seat dealership yesterday so do u guys think its worth me taking it into them for a check out or wait till the noise happens again

I reckon its ARB bushes mate, thats the same symtpom I had on my Golf. If you do change them, or any other front bushes stick some powerflex in there, theyre not much more expensive, but a whole lot better!

I just had the car back from the dealer and they cant find nothing wrong with it...although i havent been over a speed hump to check. Funny thing was when i got into my car the plastic bit behind the clutch was a bit loose, so everytime i put my clutch down it would hit the plastic bit making a annoying noise. I went back into the dealer fuming and they said it was always like it cause there was a screw missing. I pretty much told them NO IT WASNT DONT MESS ME AROUND. So they 'kindly sorted it'. I hate seat service they are rude and arrogant!!!!!
Anyways i'll have to see if the noise is still there or not when i go home.
