LCR in for rear suspension creak

Ours was creaking at the back too and got the stealer to look at in when in for a service. They found that the bracket for the rear silencer was cracked so they've ordered a new rear silencer as the bracket is attached to it. Just have to book it in to get replaced. I'll keep you posted to see if that solves the creaking.

mine went in last weel for the shocker tops to be replaced, they did it but said that there was still a noise that they couldn't identify. The noise is the same as it was before they replaced the tops.
Annoying !

Done 21000 miles.

Mine does it sometimes in the wet but im getting FK coilovers fitted inthe next few weeks (when they turn up) But do you think its worth getting the dealer to chek them first?

mine was in dealers over friday and saturday had top mounts all rear busehs replaced ad now it dosnt creak as much but th wheel vibration and dodgy handlin an clunking nises have all gone so reall im well pleased they also replaced my water temp sensor, re-sprayed my brembos and rear brake calipers, and fitted a new climate control screen as had slight blemish on it so im a happy man

i got it done at johnstons braintree, they done my brakes for free i just supplied th paint as it wasnt warrenty isssue but he said ill sort it he just cant purchase th paint or e'll get charged so i was fine with tht, and he is mod freindly, ever time somink lil happens i pop in there they always replace with no fuss top bloke he is, and i made sure friday nite no techie took my car home hehe it was nice an snug in there garage no wheels on plus i reset all th mpg and millage it done 1mile an used no petrol so they didnt cain it either

Brembo Paint flaking IS a warranty issue its just Seat don't like replacing them!! Had both replaced on my LCR 210!

If the dealer replaces all the bits mentioned - bush, top mounts etc. surely they will be the same as the ones removed - just newer.

On my car it has creaked since new (2000 miles now) how will replacing 2000 mile old bits with new cure the problem?

Seems strange that they just replace 'almost new' bits with new or are the replacements upgraded?

stpete i know it is but they were sayin it was caliper brake fluid were it hadnt been changed properly an as i didnt own the car from 2003(new) i got it 2005 they said how do u know it wasnt like tht and done at another garage, anyway there painted now prob will flake again if so ill be u-grading to ap racing anyway much better

def my nxt brakes though wen these wear an fook lol, i want to upgrade rears aswell but think ill just ap racing's disk samesize so not to upset the brake balance lol oh an better pads
