Hi all. I know it's been some time since I've posted on Seatcupra.net, but hell I'm a busy fella!!
The LCR is going great with 29k on the clock now. Touch wood, no probs.
Getting to the dreaded question, has anybody changed their front seats in a LCR and if so, is there any booby traps that I need to look out for?
I've just aquired 2 second hand Seat Sport Recaro's, and they're going in this wkend (hopefully)!!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cheers peeps!

Any pics fella? And how much/where did you get them from?
Its easy to do, remove the covers over the runners of the seat, undo the two nuts at the front, under the base in the middle push back the seat, disconect the airbag plug and slide them out

Just make sure you do this with the battery disconnected for half an hour beforehand - also the airbag plugs may be different, there's 3 wire and 4 wire plugs .... but only 3 wires are used - in fact there's only 3 wires in either plug just the 4 wire one has a blank for a wire that's not fitted :)

Thanks for the info guys. No pics as yet, pick the seats up this wkend.
They are the same Racaro's that are on the Seat UK website. The seats I've aquired have been fitted to a motor for 6mnths then stored for 2yrs.
The seats are said to be in A1 cond, normal retail price £599 each (£1200 the pair). I paid £200 the pair. Bargain of the century or what?
I will post pics if successful with the fitment!

Right-eee-ooo. Seats are now in and they look and feel superb!!
Chuffed to monkeys. What a great deal/purchase! No probs with fitment, piece of cake really. Spoke to local Seat garage to confirm methods, and they said you could dis-connect the batt to be ultra safe, but if it was them doing the job, they prob wouldn't bother.

Cheers guys, pics to follow!!
