LCR Ecu???

Hi,
Has anyone ever had to replace thier ECU in the LCR? Reason i ask if i'm having a problem with boost spikes and fluctuation of boost. I've had the car in a local garage for 3 days on their rolling road and they have tried everything they can but still can't stop the boost problem. Could the ECU realistacly cause the problem i'm having?

Any help appreciated

Rich

is the garage a VW specialist like JKM?

If not - it might be worth talking to them.... it could (and more than likely) will be something like the N75 valve which controls the boost

I had a problem with a hairline crack in the hose connecting the N75 to the actuator - this led to erratic boost control.

The crack was diffficult to see - I had take the hose off to check it properly.

My car now has the same problem as you mate, you probrally remember me pulling 265hp at JKM in December, now I can only pull 240 ish, they said my car runs on the RR just like yours, also they said that your car had this problem about 3-4 months after you had Revo?, if this is right my car is the same.
