LCR Centre Grill

I've recently had a new bumper sprayed and fitted by an independent sprayshop, I'm very pleased with the job he's done except that the S badged grill has been bugging me ever since as it doesn't seem to sit properly as it used to in the old bumper.



I've taken the top apart this morning and I can't seem to see why it isn't sitting properly. It just doesn't look right to me and it appears to be sticking out more than it should.



I'm due for a 30k service so I suppose I should ask the dealer to look at it but I'm worried I'm going to get charged a silly amount for it to be fixed and I don't think the sprayshop will be able to help much either. Just wondering if it's likely to be a part that needs replacing or if something is missing from the pictures that I've not noticed?

the badge/grill should clip into the bumper, your photos suggest it is connected the the bit of plastic that sits on top of the bumper/front panel. (5th pic).

have you tried pushing the bottom in so that it clips into place? however the clips may be broken (4th pic).

I think the clips are missing on the bottom then as there are none on the base of of the grill. I'll upload a picture tonight of the back of it just to be sure.

you should have some half arrow head parts (male) on the rear of the grill. the plastic part that is the two other grill stuck the inside of the bumper should be the female part.

Yeah unfortunately the bottom clip has broken off the base (after looking tonight) so I'll just have to order a new base that the silver badge grill clips onto, noticed as well another wheel bushing has gone walkies Thanks anyway
