Oxymoron - A paradox reduced to two words, usually in an adjective-noun ("eloquent silence") or adverb-adjective ("inertly strong") relationship, and is used for effect, to emphasize contrasts, incongruities, hypocrisy, or simply the complex nature of reality. Examples: wise fool, ignorantly learned, laughing sadness, pious hate

:whistle:haha ok lads im with you now!!!

are they ferrodo ones and who supplies them???

Sorry I based my reply on hear say which is something I try and avoid on these forums.....usually I only comment I things I have experienced first hand.

I remember a fair few scare stories which I could link to (cupra Rog being one user) who destryed a new set of Mintex in less than one track day......however, track days are an extreme....there were a few other people who didn't get on with them

In fairness the Mintex pads are cheap but I would say you get what you pay for.

I can comment on the Ferrodo DS2500 first hand as I had a set on an LCR, beter grip, better bite and more 'feel' being the benefits.....they aren;t cheap and don't have a wear sensor but hey my wear sensor didn;t work when the pads were worn anyway.

The Ferrodo will not fade, your disks will give up before these pads do ;)

I second what Phill said the extreme pads are better than OEM as far as stopping power goes, as for longevity I can’t say as yet. Had them on for 4000 miles only criticism is the amount of dust they throw off, but not really a big issue, good value for money.

Good luck... you will need it.
Appalling pads - severe disk wear and poor bite at all times.

DS2500 ferodo's and DS3000's rock!
:D :D :D
