That sounds like an interesting project you've gotten yourself. Why not speak to Piper about making you one, they have all the measurements from doing Kez's 225 LCR.
Have you spoken to Bill (Badger 5)? His wife has an Arosa with a 1.8T engine innit. What engine code you using with which turbo? Think they use her one for the track but might be of interest to speak to him.
Probably the easiest way of getting an exhaust is get a custom one made. If you want a sound clip of my Powerflow CAT back exhaust just give me a shout. It sounds surprisingly very good TBH.
Oh and BTW the tail pipe on the Piper one is a true 6" x 4", the standard LCR one is something like 5 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Good luck with the build, who's doing it for you?

hi mate , ive briefly spoken to bill about his wifes lupo conversion that JBS done . as for engine that im going to be running , im wanting to run the BAM 225bhp block . The difficulties of shoe horning in a 20vT into an arosa are huge , even just to scratch the surface , the 20vT's have a front engine mount on a front cross member . yeah , well my car doesnt even have a front cross member so one has to be fabricated  as for the exhaust , i really want to run as OEM as possible and not wanting a lairy system as you have to remember im having to run a custom exhaust system in 2.5" tubing to fit the floor plan of the arosa which no matter what is going to have a shorter pipe than a leon as the cars about 3feet shorter

Sounds good
The Powerflow isn't lairy at all, because I didn't want it to be.
It's good to hear that your going for the KO4 turbo, I'm sure a Lupo with a remapped KO4 will be massive fun. I'd love a spin in it when its done. The handling must be go kart like aswell.

at the moment it drives like a gokart but is slow as hell , im aiming for it to be in bits in march which gives me 2 months to find all the bits i need  so it will be running a 225bhp engine the car weighs about 900kg with the new engine with the full interior in it so that what 260bhp per tonne ? if you want a rough idea of what it will be like speed wise have a look at this loop with it done in germany
