LCR alarm.....

Hi, have a 55plate LCR, and the alarm doesnt go off!! I wonted to know wot it sounded like, so locked it with me inside, then jumped around like a crazy man.. but nothing!!! Any ideas people? how do i make it work?

Your interior sensors might be turned off. Some people have found that even without being altered, the sensors have been turned off. If you have access to VAG-COM you can enable it, if not and if you don't know anybody else with it, take it to your nearest dealer or VAG garage.

As RobM say's, but if you want to hear it in the mean time just lock the car with the remote and then open it with the key without then starting the car. If the alarm is armed but you open it with the key you only get a short time to put the key in the ignition or the alarm will sound.

lock car with remote
open with key and open door
do nothing and in about 10 seconds it will go off
sounds like a house alarm and your indicators flash

tryed locking etc, but still nothing. silent as agrave! may just take it back to the dealer as is booked in coz a/c blows hot, osr lamp wiring makes indicators come on when braking.. and i broke rear seat release handle . mind u, they thing it wont releae seat

did you do what i said and it didnt work
sure the sensors are on, button at bottom of pillar between front and back on drivers side

but if its going in anyway let them sort it for you

Just got my -04 LCR here in Switzerland and I dont know if any alarm is installed. Tried all the tricks you guys mention here but no dice. .....

Is not alarm a standard factory option on the LCR?
