LC/R Boost control, solenoids or bled off?

Hi,

I am just after a bit of info on the stock engine management, does it use solenoids or bleed off air to control the boost?

If it bleeds air to control the boost, does anyone use electronic boost controllers to improve boost control?

uses the N75 (solenoid valve) to bleed air back in to the intake.

i.e. hose from turbo outlet to waste gate actuator, N75 in the middle that diverts air between the intake or the wastegate

Does the N75 open in increments or is it an open/shut item at prescribed boost levels?

It cycles open/shut. (Duty Cycle) - controlled by a pulse width modulation signal.

Do they have trouble controlling the actuators on bigger turbos with the stock system?
