LC Driveshaft Removal

Hi again every1...Gotta bit of a divvy question. I've done seach on cv joint removal on my leon there was an intesting guide put on here by GJB. on his thread he said it easier to work on the shaft of it taken off the car so my question is " if i take the driveshaft pff the gearbox will i lose my transmission fluid"?

No Ian you won't. There's a flange that sticks out of the gearbox that the inner CV joint bolts to. Have you seen my guide?

cheers mate, yea i was just lookin at ur guide it was very helpful 2...gonna ave a lil crack at it 2mo if the weather holds off. by the way that green leon in the pic on ya threads is lovely. wot shade of green is it?

It's faded Kiwi Yellow, the colour of my Ibiza. My Leon is actually silver (Arctic Grey) - the colour is photoshopped. A future plan.....

mmm the colour suits the leon really well, its a colour u see leons in everyday and it will no doubts stand out from the crowd. anyways mate thanx 4 replyin 2 my thead, and nice 1 for the crack thread on the cv joint.
