From this week's AutoExpress:

0-60: 8.5s

30-70 thru gears: 8.5s

30-50 in 3rd / 4th: 3.5s / 4.7s

50-70 in 5th / 6th: 6.2s / 8.0s

Quite a bit quicker than Skoda claim ....

Just for comparison Volkswagen Driver mag tested a Polo Sport 130 recently:

0-60 7.9

30-50 3rd/4th 3.6/4.9

50-70 4th/5th/6th 4.7/5.6/8.1

Also notable was the top gear ratio has now dropped further to 31.6mph per 1000rpm. Somewhat more usable than the 40mph / 1000rpm on the early Beezer 130 PDs!

We await tests of the latest spec FRs with interest.....

In the AutoExpress test they also had a Polo 130, the in-gear figs were within a tenth or two of the VW Driver test but 0-60 was 8.6s.

Interesting that the top gear ratio is 31.6 / 1000rpm, that's the same as the Passat PD130 sport 6-speed. Probably standardised the ratios to save production costs.
